We are so excited about getting more prepared to start the building process of our home! We look forward to getting more clearing done, then to start interviewing architects. As soon as we decide on an architect then we will move forward with house plans. We have looked at several different plans and would like a design from each of them. We are hoping this can be done!
So far we are thinking of building a 2000 sq.ft. home, with potential to add on later if needed. The house we like is 4 bdrm 2 1/2 bath. Dining room & living room combined. Kitchen, utility/mudroom, and master bedroom in the back of house. The two kids rooms/guest rooms are in the front of the house. One bedroom upstairs with 1/2 bath!!
With lots of modifications in mind, this is the start to what we want. I am sure we will go through changes quite often but we are a compromising team and will enjoy every minute of it!
We are leaning toward a wood burning stove. Does anyone have one of these and could recommend a flooring that works best with it?
